But you cat is the second best part! D: Darn independent cats. Mine was being all dependent and LOVE ME last night, but this morning, she's back to her old self. Just when I thought she was done being mad at me... At least I got her to pose with my copy of This Song Will Save Your Life! If only it were as cute as Percy putting his head in the box of books.

The Distance Between Us? WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANT. I'm getting a book my coblogger would probably kill multiple Smurfs for (The Lost Sun by Tessa Gratton), so I might just badger her into sending me The Distance Between Us in exchange for it. Mwahahahahaha.

I got Tumble & Fall too (well, more like Usagi shared it with me), but I'm not sure about it. My senses tell me something will go wrong there. It also might be a packaged book from Alloy Entertainment and packaged books almost never work out for me. Wary Ashleigh is wary.

Fuck yeah, Golden! I'm going to the used bookstore later today and if they have a copy, I'll buy it and cuddle it forever and forever.

You got a lot of nice books this week. I can't wait to hear what you have to say about Babe in Boyland. I've been wanting to read that one for a while.

I know, I know, but he just didn't want to. Hahaha. Oh, Percy, he is pretty freaking adorable. I should have put those pictures in the post. Haha. Oops.

Having a coblogger totally opened up your options.

It's Alloy? Really? Boo. Well, I've been afraid too, but I hope it's not terrible.

I doubt it would be at a used bookstore yet, but who knows.

Yay for Tumble & Fall! That's one book I'm really looking forward to, for some reason, since contemporary isn't really my thing. AND YES. I can't wait to hear what you think of both Parallel and Golden. I enjoyed them both immensely. I hope A Darkness Strange and Lovely is good, too!

Awesome haul, Christina; hope you have a wonderful week. :)

Super jealous of Reboot. I might have to break down and buy it since my library doesn't have a copy. We'll get over the fact that Percy didn't make an appearance this week but I hope that doesn't become a habit! ;-)

Also.

Big big big yay for The Rithmatist! LOVED THAT BOOK.

Awww, I'm sorry. YouTube does not have a great algorithm for buffering. I can watch Netflix and Hulu just fine, but YouTube is a huge pain. Blogger friends are the bestest!

Oooh I got Tumble & Fall too! Really hoping it lives up to that fabulous cover (ha-I'm guilty too). Ahhh... you got Tarnish! I'm so eager for that one. Damn netgalley... still not approving me... after 6 weeks? Whatever... I'm done whining. I'm really eager to read Mistborn after your rave review. Hope I'm able to squeeze it in soon. Not likely, but I can dream.

I didn't think Tumble & Fall was contemporary? It's apocalyptic. Huh, I guess you could term that contemporary. *shrugs*

Gah, I hope I get to read those soon!

I'm listening to the audio now, and it's enjoyable so far! The romance is a wee bit cheesy, but not too badly so atm.

I will carry Percy's furry little butt onto camera this week. He can deal.

I ADORE Leila Sales books!! She is one of my favorites. I can't wait for TSWSYL. (What is up with all these long titles lately that I have to make acronyms for?)

Hope you enjoy all your new books!

What's even better is trying to pronounce the acronyms. This one comes out sort of like "tea swizzle."

Always a good idea to research thoroughly before buying a new hardback. I've regretted some impulse buys for sure. The first book is sooooo good. You should definitely check it out!

MISTBORN is some awesomeness. I can't even about how good that book was.

I wish I had time to read Rithmatist now. *pouts*

Okay, I want to read Openly Straight pretty badly so I hope it's good!

I decided to pass on Sylo but my mind could be changed if you think it's good.

I am so jealous you have A Darkness Strange and Lovely. I'm gonna cry.

Okay, so Black Helicopters. It wasn't terrible and I gave it 3 stars but it's one of those books that I really want a second opinion on by someone I trust, so I sent it to you. It just wasn't for me but that doesn't mean it was bad. Just...bizarre.

And I am really glad you loved Shadows on the Moon. It's one of my favorites.

OHHH! I want Golden too. You guys are killing me with that book. I must read it.

I hope so. It makes me sad when I read LGBT fiction and it's not good. It should be happymaking and feels.

*crosses fingers* At least it's a gift, so no big if I hate it.

I am almost jealous of myself.

Oh, good to know. Lol. It'll be forever, so I hope you still remember it then.

Weeeeee.

I haven't read it, but if it's not made of feels, I quit.

Yes, you go roll in books!

Tumble & Fall has one of the most beautiful covers I've seen in a while. I hope it will also be a good read. I've been tricked way too many times by pretty covers. I don't get the logic behind them: WHY ARE PUBLISHERS THROWING SO MUCH MONEY AT MEH BOOKS?

Looks like Sanderson is your new obsession.

Dude! You got A Darkness Strange and Lovely! I'm quite keen on reading that. The ending for the first book was so badass. Also, Parallel. Give it a while. Let it sink into your head before you decide to DNF. I went close to DNFing a couple of times but then ended up enjoying the book, strangely enough.

No Perseus? We demand double dose next week. :D

Wow that's a lot of books. Good luck reading them and I hope you enjoy them all! :)

I've got Reboot too. I hope I will find time in my chaotic schedule to read it soon.

And yes that man in white on Mistborn cover is Elend. :) Why is he in white uniform? Read to find out! :p
